ADÉLA Scores Massive Pop Breakthrough With “Nicole Kidman” ADÉLA was already making headlines with the fast-rising success of “Ain’t In LA” and the splashy Billboard 200 No. 4 debut for her new PRIMA LP, but “Nicole Kidman” is shaping up to be something entirely different. An instant breakout hit upon the album’s full release, “Nicole Kidman” is currently the hottest pop song on social media thanks to ADÉLA’s Doja Cat and Ariana Grande-nodding delivery, slick lyrical callbacks to Kidman’s discography, and a splashy, clippable music video . In the PRIMA’s first week of release (Sept. 4-10), Kidman collected 5.76 million official on-demand U.S. streams, with that number spiking 66% to over 9.59 million streams the following week (Sept. 11-17). “Nicole Kidman” truly came alive over the weekend. During the five-day period of Sept. 11-15, the breezy track earned 6.14 million official streams, jumping 51% to 9.3 million official streams a week later (Sept. 18-22). On the Sept. 26-dated Billboard Hot 100 , “Kidman” flies 45-22, and it’ll likely continue its quick ascent after taking the No. 1 spot on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs USA from Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” on Tuesday (Sept. 22).
