Getty Robert Carradine ‘s final days are being detailed in a new report. The late actor died back in February by suicide after battling bipolar and more for two decades before his tragic death. Now, a new medical examiner’s report is sharing more about the late actor’s final days, including his mental health struggles and how he was found prior to his passing. Per TMZ , the report says his daughter shared with investigators he had struggled with mental illness for about 20 years, and was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. He also reportedly struggled with severe depression and anxiety, and was taking multiple medications. According to the medical examiner’s report, Robert had checked himself into a Los Angeles psychiatric hospital, where he previously received treatment for ongoing suicidal ideation. It also says that at the hospital, an employee went to his room to tell him his daughter was on the phone, and he was found hanging and unresponsive. The report states Robert was in cardiac arrest and no suicide note was found. Medical personnel tried to resuscitate him and he was transferred to an intensive care unit. Robert then sadly passed away weeks later, on February 23rd. It was previously reported that Robert ‘s manner of death was ruled a suicide, and the cause of death was revealed to be “sequelae of anoxic brain injury from hanging.” Our continued thoughts and condolences go out to Robert ‘s loved ones.
