Today is officially Dolly Parton Day in the state of California and in dozens of municipalities across the U.S. The date’s significance should be obvious to fans of the late country music legend: 9-2-5 references Parton’s hit single “9 to 5” from the 1980 film of the same in which she starred alongside Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin .
