TikTok: katyperry Katy Perry is officially revealing the cover art and release date for her new single, “Watch It Burn.” “Watch It Burn June 25th,” she captioned the cover reveal , featuring a close-up on her face in front of a glowing light, along with a cigarette emoji. The 41-year-old Teenage Dream pop superstar previously previewed the upcoming song in an interview with Justin Tranter for Unfamous The Podcast , released on Wednesday (June 17). “In ‘Watch It Burn’ I am wrestling with my darkness but last year was pretty tough,” she explained. “I have not given myself permission to be angry my whole life over things where I should be f–king angry about. What I’ve done is I pushed it down, but I should be f–king angry.
