Getty Shohei Ohtani is now a dad of 2! After missing the Los Angeles Dodgers game against the Baltimore Orioles on Friday night (June 19), the 31-year-old star pitcher announced the following morning that he has welcomed his second child with wife Mamiko Tanaka . “We are again overjoyed to experience this wonder day in our lives,” the couple wrote in a joint message on Instagram . “Thank you for being born safely.” “We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported us throughout this journey,” Shohei and the 29-year-old former basketball player added. While they shared a photo of the newborn’s feet wrapped in a blue blanket, the couple didn’t share any other details about their newborn, including the baby’s sex or name.
