Getty Zoey Deutch and Nick Robinson are currently starring alongside each other in Netflix’s #1 movie, Voicemails for Isabelle , and they’ve actually known each other for years. Zoey , 31, and Nick , 31, went to high school together! “I have loved Nick, for what, 17 years? I was just so excited to finally get to work with you because I’d been trying for so many years,” Zoey said in a Netflix Q&A. Nick added, “I was also really excited because we’ve known each other since high school. Honestly, it’s been really cool to watch you from afar and just see how you level up, and level up, and level up.” After Zoey jokingly chimed in, “Like in a creepy way? Like listening to my voicemails?” Nick added, “Like exactly like this movie. I’ve been stalking you since junior year in high school. I’m just so grateful that you allowed me to be part of this journey and I’m a fan for life.” In an interview for Entertainment Tonight , they shared their former impressions of each other. Zoey said, “I had a crush on him, so I was mean to him, which was my like sort of go-to then… I was like, ‘You’re cute, so let me be like poke at you.’” Nick added, “I think I found you intimidating. I found you forward, really cool.” Zoey just clarified her real-life relationship status after fans thought she got married.
