Getty Images Jax Taylor is asking a judge to order Brittany Cartwright to pay him about $17,000 a month in spousal support as their divorce proceeds. He is also seeking child support, according to court documents obtained by Us Weekly . Jax says he has struggled to find entertainment work and alleges Brittany ‘s statements and actions damaged his career. In the filing, he lists average monthly income of $30,334 and expenses of $28,944. He estimates Brittany ‘s company earned more than $630,000 in gross income from January through May. Jax ‘s attorney says his client had not planned to seek support earlier in the divorce, but now believes circumstances warrant it. The lawyer says the request is not retaliation. Brittany ‘s representative previously denied that she tried to interfere with Jax ‘s career, saying she sought court protection after speaking about abuse allegations in their relationship. A judge granted temporary restraining orders to both parties. The former couple share five-year-old son Cruz and separated in 2024. Last month, Jax asked a judge to declare him legally single while financial and property issues remained unresolved. Jax officially confirmed that he’s dating Lori Krebs in August 2026. Lori is Brittany ‘s now-former longtime publicist and one-time close friend. If you didn’t see, Brittany publicly addressed the shocking relationship. Jax and Lori were seen on a date night in West Hollywood at the end of September.
