Harry Styles has a handful of Guinness World Records with his former mates in One Direction, but on Saturday (July 4), the “Aperture” singer achieved a massive milestone in his solo career when his historic residency run at London’s Wembley Stadium was recognized by the Guinness team for a unique honor. “Harry Styles & the Together, Together tour have made music history, achieving a new Guinness World Records title for the longest residency by a musician at Wembley Stadium during a single run,” read a statement from the record-recording organization on Monday morning (July 6), confirming that Styles had beat out previous record-holders Coldplay (10 nights in 2025) and Taylor Swift (eight nights in 2024). The 12 nights of gigs in support of the singer’s fourth album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally , kicked off on June 12 and included shows on June 13, 17, 19, 20, 23, 26, 27 and 29, as well as July 1st and 3rd; the originally planned six-show run was expanded due to demand. “Wembley Stadium is one of the most iconic live music venues in the world, so to achieve the longest residency by a musician there during a single run is an extraordinary achievement,” said official Guinness World Records adjudicator Will Munford in a statement. “Harry Styles’ record-breaking 12-date run is a testament to the scale, ambition and cultural impact of his live performances, as well as the incredible connection he has with his fans. It is also brilliant to see Harry & his team recognizing the wider tour team with official Guinness World Records certificates, celebrating the huge amount of work that goes into delivering a record-breaking run like this. Record-breaking moments are rarely achieved alone, and this is a true example of what we mean when we say everyone can be part of it.” After the official verification, Munford presented the certificate onstage at Wembley to Styles and his touring crew, with arrangements from the singer’s team to also distribute official certificates to a wider group of the touring crew in recognition of the record. The title reads: The longest residency by a musician at Wembley Stadium during a single run is 12 shows and was achieved by Harry Styles (UK) at Wembley Stadium in London, UK, on 4 July 2026. Styles’ previous solo Guinness records include a certificate for his 2022 Harry’s House single, “As It Was,” racking up 2.28 billion global subscription streams equivalent units across all digital platforms that year. Saturday was a fun night overall, with Styles’ older sister, Gemma, taking the stage to honor her brother for his achievement and to praise him for the world he’s built with his music. “Seeing the incredible community that has formed around you, is just indescribable. Thank you to everyone who has been here with you over the last 12 nights and the last 16 years,” she said . “I’m so proud of you.
