Getty Robin Antin is speaking out about the death of Lauren Bennett . The 65-year-old dancer and choreographer, responsible for putting together the late star’s girl group G.R.L. , as well as founding the Pussycat Dolls , Girlicious and the Paradiso Girls , issued a statement after news broke of Lauren ‘s passing earlier in the week. “There are some people who come into your life and become so much more than a friend. Lauren , you were my family, from the age of 16, when we first met, my chosen sister, my creative partner, and such a treasured part of my heart,” she wrote. “I look forward to sharing some of Lauren ’s most iconic moments with the fans who loved her so dearly. The stage was where she came alive. It was where she was completely herself. Lauren ’s voice and her heart were truly one of a kind, every performance reflected the joy, passion, and light she carried within her.” “ Lauren , thank you for every uncontrollable laugh… every conversation at 3am about everything from Playground merch to creating new shows, every adventure, every dream, and every memory. Thank you for being my family. My Mum, Dad, & brothers absolutely adored you. Thank you for sharing your extraordinary gift with all of us. You have left a mark on this world that will never fade, and a place in my heart that can never be filled. I love & miss you endlessly, my beautiful friend,” she concluded. Lauren passed away at the age of 37, and her father just released a statement. It was reported that she actually passed on May 29 and an investigation into her death has been opened.
