Getty Longtime married couple Morgan Spector and Rebecca Hall are in talks to star in their first TV series together! The actors are reportedly going to star in Netflix’s upcoming TV adaptation of Dan Brown ‘s book The Secret of Secrets , which follows the beloved character Robert Langdon. Morgan is in negotiations to play Langdon while Rebecca is in talks for the female lead, Katherine Solomon, according to Deadline . The outlet notes how in the book, “symbologist Robert Langdon ( Spector ) races against ancient forces and time to rescue his girlfriend, missing scientist Katherine Solomon ( Hall ), and her groundbreaking manuscript whose discoveries have the power to forever change humanity’s understanding of the mind. Robert Langdon was previously portrayed by Tom Hanks in the movies The Da Vinci Code , Angels & Demons , and Inferno . Ashley Zukerman played a young Langdon in the Peacock series The Lost Symbol , which was canceled after one season. Morgan and Rebecca , who have been married since 2015, have worked together on the movies Christine and Permission , as well as in the plays Machinal and Animal , but they’ve never done a TV series together. Morgan is best known for his work on the HBO series The Gilded Age while Rebecca has starred in movies like The Prestige , Vicky Cristina Barcelona , The Town , and Godzilla vs. Kong .
