Getty Prince Harry and his kids are spending the day with King Charles . On Friday (July 10), Buckingham Palace confirmed that the 77-year-old King of England and wife Queen Camilla hosted the 41-year-old Duke of Sussex, wife Meghan Markle , and their kids Prince Archie , 7, Princess Lilibet , 5, that afternoon. The reunion took place at Highgrove House, King Charles ‘ private country residence in Gloucestershire, England. No images are expected to be released from the reunion, and no further details will be provided, as it was a private family meeting. While Harry has been in the UK for the past several days promoting his Invictus Games , People reports that Meghan , 44, and the kids flew to England from their vacation in Europe for the reunion. This marks the first time King Charles has reunited with his two youngest grandchildren in-person in four years. Archie and Lili are being raised in California where Harry and Meghan moved to in 2020 after stepping back as working members of the British Royal Family. Archie and Lili were last in England in June 2022 when they joined their parents as they attended Queen Elizabeth ‘s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, though the kids didn’t appear at any public events. Harry , Meghan , and their kids have been in vacationing in Europe for the summer and on July 6, Harry arrived solo in the UK for a series of charity events, including the one-year countdown event to the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham, which also took place the same day as Harry ‘s meeting with his father. It is said that the British Royal Family’s relationship had deteriorated in recent years and Harry previously revealed 1 reason for the rift in his family.
