Getty It sounds like we might be getting a Florence Pugh cameo in the new Spider-Man movie! While appearing at BiliBili World in Shanghai on Saturday (July 11), Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige seemingly confirmed that the 30-year-old Oscar-nominated actress will be reprising her role as Yelena in Spider-Man: Brand New Day . “If you’re a fan of Yelena, wait until Avengers: Doomsday . Yelena plays a big part in that,” Kevin said of the upcoming movie, which hits theaters in December. “But if you don’t want to wait until then, you might see Yelena a little bit sooner in the movies,” he then teased. There’s only one Marvel that is slated to be released between now and Doomsday , and that’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day , which hits theaters at the end of July. Florence first appeared as Yelena Belova, the adoptive sister of Scarlett Johansson ’s Natasha Romanoff, in the 2021 movie Black Widow . She then appeared in three episodes of the Disney+ series Hawkeye later that year and last year she starred in Thunderbolts* . It has already been revealed that Hulk ( Mark Ruffalo ) and Punisher ( Jon Bernthal ) will be appearing in the new Spider-Man movie. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to hit theaters on July 31.
