Justin Moore is on the road again and healthier than ever. During his performance in Knoxville, Ill., on July 9, Moore told the crowd that he recently spent 30 days in rehab, and the concert that night marked his 31st day sober. In a concert video shared by Whiskey Riff on TikTok , Moore told the crowd, “My drinking got out of control.” In June, Moore announced on social media that he was taking a hiatus from the road to focus on his health. His June-slated dates had included a handful of shows opening for Riley Green on the latter’s As Cowboy As It Gets Tour. “This is the right decision for me and my family, and I appreciate everyone’s understanding and support,” Moore said in a June 8 statement on Instagram . “I look forward to getting back out there later this summer and doing what I love most.” During his return to the stage on July 9, Moore spoke of his break from the road. “We’ve been off a while, and there was a lot of speculation. My drinking got out of control,” he shared in Whiskey Riff’s TikTok clip. “I let down my band and my crew and most importantly, God and my family. Got a really good buddy who went through this as well … who always says he’s allergic to booze because he breaks out in handcuffs. Fortunately, I didn’t do that, I just became a complete dumbass. I just got out of rehab for 30 days, this is my 31st day sober.” Moore added, “I’m gonna try to help as many people from this point forward til my last days on Earth and hopefully set a much better example for my kiddos.” From there, he performed his 2011 hit “Outlaws Like Me.” Moore’s next show is July 16 at Resch Center in Green Bay, Wis. Moore, who has earned 11 No. 1 Billboard Country Airplay chart hits, released a greatest hits collection on Blue Highway Records earlier this year. The set included “Small Town USA,” “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away” and his work with Dierks Bentley (“Time’s Ticking”) and Priscilla Block (“You, Me and Whiskey”).
