Plus, Chesney’s 100th entry on Country Airplay becomes the first top 10 on the chart for the recently launched Hey Now Records . “Carry On” hits the top 10 in its 10th week, continuing a familiar pattern. No fewer than 34 of Chesney’s 62 such hits have entered the tier within that span. “Young” in 2002 and “Here and Now” in 2020 also needed only 10 weeks, while “Don’t Blink” made his fastest trip, just three frames, in 2007. Among the three acts atop the career top 10 leaderboard, Strait boasts the most rapid risers, as 41 of his 61 top 10s got there within 10 weeks, compared to Chesney’s 34 and McGraw’s 27; the stat reflects, in part, their earlier hits occurring in an era of faster radio rotation and label release strategies. Only McGraw has spent more time on the ranking (1,945 weeks). “Don’t Tell on Me” Continues Its Reign As Jason Aldean ’s “Don’t Tell on Me” tops Country Airplay for a third week (34.4 million, up 9%), Tucker Wetmore scores a career-high debut with “Who Told You That” at No. 37 (3 million). It follows “Brunette,” which in May became his first No. 1. Luke Combs also enters with his newest radio single, “Rethink Some Things,” at No. 44 (1.7 million). His “Be by You,” meanwhile, rises a spot to No. 4 (25.3 million, up 7%) and “Better That Way,” with Charles Wesley Godwin, places at No. 55 (1.1 million).
