Snow Man ‘s “Good Time” debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 , on the chart released July 15. The digital single was released July 6. The track accumulated 106,537 downloads to rule the metric while also coming in at No. 5 for streaming, No. 2 for radio airplay, and No. 32 for video views to become the popular nine-member boy band’s 15th No. 1 on the Japan Hot 100. The release also pulled two additional Snow Man tracks into the top 100, with “Charismax” at No. 23 and “BANG!!” at No. 94, giving the group three simultaneous entries this week. BUDDiiS’ “Kimi wa Toshi Densetsu” rises to No. 2. The CD version of the group’s major-label debut single dropped July 8, moving 140,630 copies to top sales, while also placing No. 29 for streaming. OCHA NORMA’s “Dantotsu de Aishite” bows at No. 3, launching with 124,011 copies to hit No. 2 for sales. Panda Dragon’s “IDOL OF POP” debuts at No. 5, moving 108,335 copies to come in at No. 3 for sales. SWEET STEADY’s “SWEET STEP” returns to the chart at No. 8 — roughly three and a half months after its previous entry — with weekly sales approximately 10 times those of last week. Twelve tracks debut on the chart this week. M!LK member Daichi Shiozaki’s solo track “Shiozaki Wonderland” enters at No. 20, accumulating points primarily through streaming and video. SEKAI NO OWARI’s “Stella” arrives at No. 30 with a balanced showing across sales, downloads, and radio airplay. YAO’s “777 feat. Awich, CHICO CARLITO, ONE OK ROCK & Paledusk” debuts at No. 41, driven mainly by streaming. Among catalog titles, T.M.Revolution’s summer pop staple “HOT LIMIT” surges from outside the chart to No. 17 — its first-ever top-20 entry on the overall chart. The track draws renewed attention every summer, but this week a new video release on THE FIRST TAKE pushed it to No. 1 on the video metric for the first time. Southern All Stars’ “Ellie My Love” — first released in 1979 — also re-enters at No. 60, boosted by its use on the new Netflix series Human Vapor . The show’s reach has boosted the veteran band’s iconic ballad beyond Japan, with streaming figures rising approximately 27 times in South Korea and approximately 6.8 times in the United States when comparing July 1 (the day before the series launched) to July 8 according to Luminate.
