Atlanta rapper Alley Boy (born Curt Freeman) is dead at 42 years old. Alley Boy’s daughter confirmed his death in a post to Instagram on Monday (July 20). He told Off the Porch that drinking lean was the root of his kidney issues, and he was still awaiting a transplant in late 2024. “From drinking lean. I be telling n—as, all along I was drinking the lean,” he explained. “I used to sell it, so I always had it. The whole time, I’m allergic to opioids and didn’t know it. I was drinking poison the whole time. Making my blood pressure go up.” Alley Boy Da Don’s brother, Perspektives With Bank host Big Bank Black, cofounded Duct Tape Entertainment in 2005 while Alley Boy was in prison. They rose to prominence in Atlanta and earned a distribution deal with Atlantic Records.
