Getty Jennifer Aniston is reportedly exiting a big project. The 57-year-old Friends alum has stepped away from Jennette McCurdy ‘s TV adaptation of her best-selling memoir I’m Glad My Mom Died , according to a new report from TMZ on Tuesday (July 21). While scripts are being worked on for the series at the moment, Jennifer “backed out due to scheduling conflicts,” according to the outlet’s sources. She was set to play Jennette ‘s mother. Variety reported last summer that the series will land at Apple TV. The series will follow the “heartbreaking and hilarious recounting of Jennette McCurdy ’s struggles as a former child actor while dealing with her overbearing, domineering mother ( Aniston ). The dramedy will center on the the codependent relationship between an 18-year-old actress in a hit kid’s show, and her narcissistic mother who relishes in her identity as ‘a starlet’s mother.’” Director Jason Reitman also dropped out of the project last year due to alleged creative differences with Jennette . Jennette recently opened up about how the age-gap relationship she entered into at the age of 18. At the same time, it was recently announced that Jennifer is going to be making a live appearance with boyfriend Jim Curtis to help him promote his new book.
