Backgrid It looks like Jennifer Garner and Judy Greer have joined the cast of the 13 Going on 30 reboot movie! The actresses and longtime friends were spotted filming a scene with new star Emily Bader on Tuesday morning (July 21) in Santa Monica, Calif. The 2004 movie followed a 13-year-old girl who makes a wish on her birthday and magically wakes up as the 30-year-old version of herself. Jennifer starred as Jenna Rink with Judy as Lucy Wyman, her high school bully who became her co-worker and best friend in the future. When Netflix announced its 13 Going on 30 reboot recently, Jennifer was revealed to be an executive producer on the film, but nothing was said about her appearing in the movie. It’s unclear if Jennifer and Judy are reprising their roles as Jenna and Lucy or playing new characters in the reboot. Plot details are also unknown as of this time. Emily Bader , who recently starred in Netflix’s rom-com People We Meet on Vacation , will lead the cast of the reboot. Logan Lerman , Taylor Zakhar Perez , Jessica Alba , Adeline Rudolph , Taylor Ortega , Tim Meadows , and Dan Bucatinsky also will star in the movie.
