Victoria Monét’s next era is on the horizon. The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter announced the release date for her Frequency of Love album on Wednesday (July 22), which is set to arrive on Oct. 2 via Lovett Music/RCA Records. Monét accompanied the release date announcement with her second single of 2026, as she recruited the acclaimed duo of Kaytranada and D’Mile to produce “Reach Out.” The 37-year-old yearns for an ex-flame to cut the tension between them so they can rekindle their love. “You live your life/ And I am living mine/ But I know we fantasize/ How it would feel if our worlds collide tonight,” she sings. The Sacramento native pulled out all the stops when it comes to her high-profile collaborators, as Dave Meyers directed the “Reach Out” visual, with Sean Bankhead helming the choreography. Between the sepia filter and bold fashion, the ’90s R&B-inspired clip feels like something out of the Mary J. Blige or Janet Jackson playbook. Frequency of Love finds Victoria Monét posing nude on the cover, while she’s sporting various gold necklaces, rings, bracelets and accessories. “Reach Out” follows Monét’s “Let Me” single, which topped the Adult R&B Airplay chart in June. The album will be filled with 22 tracks in total. Frequency of Love follows VM’s Jaguar II album in 2023. Monét’s debut LP reached No. 60 on the Billboard 200. Victoria Monét is currently on the road supporting Bruno Mars’ The Romantic Tour, which is overseas with a few London shows left on the European run. She’ll next take the Wembley Stadium stage on Friday (July 24). Find the Frequency of Love cover art and “Reach Out” video below.
