MGK Day is back. Mgk announced the return of MGK Day weekend for 2026 on Thursday (July 22), which will take over downtown Cleveland on Aug. 7-8. Mgk will be taking the stage to close out the festive weekend on Aug. 8 at 6 p.m. ET, and he’ll be bringing a special guest with him, as Wiz Khalifa is set to join Kells in Cleveland. There will be a fireworks show to follow the North Coast Yard performance at dusk. “All walks of life from around the world travel to my city for one weekend to rage and enjoy the music, festivities and community we’ve spent years growing,” mgk tells Billboard . Tickets for MGK Day are currently on sale. General admission tickets are priced at $39. There’s a tailgate pass for $185 that includes five general admission tickets and a parking pass. A VIP package option is also available for $237. The Friday, Aug. 7, festivities include a best trick contest at the Crooked River Skate Park at 5 p.m. ET. Saturday’s Art + Community Festival schedule is loaded with a noon tailgate, followed by a ride through the city with Harley-Davidson at 3 p.m. ET and then performances at the main stage. “They actually got to see him grow and see him rapping outside airbrush stores,” mgk’s producer SlimXX told Billboard at MGK Day 2025 of Kells’ connection to Cleveland. “Back then, nobody knew us, so we couldn’t get in anywhere, so we’d play in the parking lot. That’s why, when we pull up out here, it’s a million people, because everyone feels like they’re a part of it. The city loves him. Everybody feels like a big family.” Mgk has kept busy in 2026. He had Wiz join him on the second leg of the Lost Americana Tour, and he teamed up with the Pittsburgh rapper for the nostalgic Blog Era Boyz mixtape, which arrived on May 22.
