Apple TV The trailer for John Cena ‘s new movie has been released! The 49-year-old actor stars alongside Jessica Biel , Sam Richardson , Arturo Castro , Teyonah Parris , Randeep Hooda , Danai Gurira , Corey Stoll , Bill Camp , and Golshifteh Farahani in the new Apple TV movie, Matchbox The Movie , inspired by the iconic Mattel toys. Matchbox The Movie is an action-packed, globetrotting adventure about a group of friends since childhood who have their lives upended when undercover CIA agent Sean ( Cena ), their long-absent former leader, returns to their small town and unwittingly gets them embroiled in a frantic international pursuit to save the world. The trailer debuted during a panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday (July 25). Earlier this week, a new trailer for Coyote vs Acme , which John stars in alongside Will Forte and Lana Condor , was released. Matchbox The Movie will be released on October 9, 2026.
