Getty Macaulay Culkin reportedly has a new idea for a Home Alone movie and he took it straight to Disney! During a recent episode of journalist Matt Belloni ‘s podcast The Town , he revealed a tip he heard “the other day” that there “was a very interesting sighting on the Disney lot. Apparently, Macaulay “talked about having an idea for a new Home Alone and Disney is, like, salivating.” “They’re offering him another movie — like, he could do his own passion project if he could also do another Home Alone — and they have a good idea,” Belloni said. “I’ve talked to people who have heard it, and it’s a really good idea for a Home Alone reboot with Macaulay Culkin .” He didn’t go into detail about what the supposed idea is, but he did add that Home Alone remains a very popular franchise to stream over the holidays, so a reboot could be “gigantic.” Macaulay Culkin previously shared an idea for a Home Alone sequel Last year, Macaulay said he wasn’t opposed to the idea of returning as Kevin, revealing he had an idea of how a sequel could work. “I’m either a widower or a divorcé. I’m raising a kid and all that stuff. I’m working really hard, and I’m not really paying enough attention, and the kid is kind of getting miffed at me, and then I get locked out.
