Getty The cast of the Prime Video series The Boys reunited to celebrate the series finale, though three of the biggest stars in the cast were notably absent. Hours before the finale dropped on the streaming service, the cast got together for a special screening on Tuesday night (May 19) at The United Theater on Broadway in Los Angeles. Which cast members attended the event? Laz Alonso, Nathan Mitchell, Chace Crawford, Valorie Curry, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Karen Fukuhara, Susan Heyward, Colby Minifie, Jensen Ackles, Tomer Capone and Daveed Diggs were all in attendance. They flipped the cameras off during group photos and solo photos. Who was missing from the event? The show’s three top-billed cast members – Karl Urban (Billy Butcher), Jack Quaid (Hughie Campbell), and Antony Starr (Homelander) – were all missing from the event. It’s unclear why they weren’t there. What happened in the series finale? In the fifth and final season, it’s Homelander’s world, completely subject to his erratic, egomaniacal whims. Hughie, Mother’s Milk, and Frenchie are imprisoned in a “Freedom Camp.” Annie struggles to mount a resistance against the overwhelming Supe force. Kimiko is nowhere to be found. But when Butcher reappears, ready and willing to use a virus that will wipe all Supes off the map, he sets in motion a chain of events that will forever change the world and everyone in it.
