Getty It sounds like Donald Trump still hasn’t RSVP’d to son Donald Trump Jr ‘s wedding. Donald Jr. , 48, and fiancee Bettina Anderson are getting married this weekend in an intimate ceremony, reportedly in the Bahamas. While speaking to reporters in the Oval Office on Thursday (May 21), the 79-year-old President said that he isn’t 100% committed to attend the wedding. “He’d like me to go, but it’s going to be just a small little private affair, and I’m going to try and make it,” Trump told reporters, per Page Six . “This is not good timing for me,” he continued. “Everything called Iran and other things.” Trump went on to say that the the dilemma is “one I can’t win on,” noting, “If I do attend, I get killed. If I don’t attend, I get killed.” “Hopefully they’re going to have a great marriage,” he added. Donald Jr. proposed to the 39-year-old model/socialite in December 2025. They started dating in 2024 around the same time his engagement to former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle ended. Donald Jr. was previously married to Vanessa Trump from 2005 to 2018 and they share five children – Kai , 19, Donald , 17, Tristan , 14, Spencer , 13, and Chloe , 11. Vanessa is now dating this very famous professional golfer .
