Zac Brown Band fans who attended the group’s show at Boston’s Fenway Park on Sunday (Aug. 2) got an extra surprise when lead singer Zac Brown announced that each of the 37,000-plus concertgoers in attendance that evening would receive a free cruise vacation on Margaritaville at Sea. Before launching into the group’s hit “Same Boat,” Brown took a moment to tell fans, “Tonight we’re going to do something that even Jimmy [Buffett] would say is crazy. I’m buying every single person here a cruise for two people on the boat. This is the biggest giveaway in history, ladies and gentlemen, right here tonight at Fenway Park!” The press release also stated that the gift, valued at over $40 million, marks the largest audience gifting in live entertainment history. In a statement, Margaritaville at Sea CEO Christopher Ivy said, “We were honored to work alongside Zac to help bring this incredible surprise to life for his fans. This was an extraordinary way to thank the fans who have supported him throughout his career, and we’re proud to have helped make that incredible vision a once-in-a-lifetime reality.” This isn’t the only time Zac Brown Band is giving away cruises to fans. Throughout its Love & Fear Tour in the United States, the group is giving away four cruises per show, with the selected fans receiving a cruise on the Beachcomber boat, which will debut in January 2027; it’s home to Same Boat, the curated live-music venue at sea, co-designed by Brown. The venue is named in honor of Brown’s 2021 collaboration with the late Buffett. The group launched its 27-show Love & Fear U.S. Tour in July and will continue through November. The tour takes its name from Zac Brown Band’s eighth studio album, Love & Fear . See the video of Brown making the announcement below: View this post on Instagram
