Getty The Freedom 250 event at the White House on June 14 cost UFC owners $30 million. UFC’s parent company TKO Group Holdings released the financial numbers on Monday (August 3), via BBC Sport . Andrew Schleimer , chief financial officer of TKO Group, told investors they experienced higher than normal costs for Freedom 250, which they “partially offset with sold-out global partnerships inventory,” according to the report. “Given the event’s profile, which as anticipated, resulted in an approximate $30m loss, our margins at UFC as well as on a consolidated basis were meaningfully impacted.” Approximately 4,300 people were present at the event, including President Donald Trump , Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg and Vice President JD Vance , which was held on the South Lawn amid celebrations for the 250th anniversary of America’s independence. Tickets were not sold to the general public, but there were “high-roller” packages for high-profile attendees. The White House event was streamed on Paramount+, and garnered an average of 34 million viewers worldwide, breaking records as one of the most watched MMA events ever. Regardless of the event’s losses, UFC’s revenue increased 29% year over year to $535.7 million in the second quarter of 2026, the BBC also notes.
