NBC Law & Order: SVU is returning this fall. The long-running procedural TV series centers around the detectives of the Special Victims Unit as they investigate and prosecute sex-based crimes, and has been on the air since 1999. The show was renewed for Season 28, which will be released this fall, airing on Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on NBC. (We don’t have an exact premiere date just yet.)
