The actors star together on the buzzy crime drama, which recently found itself at the center of controversy after a report claimed Tom had been fired from the show. A follow-up report alleged that the Venom star had kept cast and crew waiting on set and had clashed with producers during production. However, a new source has since claimed that Tom was never fired and that “the door is not closed for Season 3.” Helen Mirren shows support for Tom Hardy Now, it seems Helen may be signaling where she stands. On Thursday (May 28), the Oscar-winning actress, who plays Maeve Harrigan on MobLand , shared a photo of Tom to her Instagram account along with a heartfelt message that read, “Love you now and always,” before signing it simply, “Helen.” The post comes after previous reports cited a source who claimed Helen and fellow cast member Pierce Brosnan had grown “frustrated” by being “made to wait a couple of hours” while filming. “I know she’s said to him a couple of times, ‘Come on Tom , we’ve been here for ages, let’s get on with it,’ but she’s never appeared to be anti- Tom ,” the source claimed. “ Helen is not that sort of person. If she had a problem with Tom , she would have said to his face, ‘Look come on, let’s just stop wasting everyone else’s time and let’s get on with it.’ But that’s probably as far as it went. She’s not the sort of person who’s going to get involved in a whole political situation. She just isn’t. She certainly isn’t going to be one who stamps her feet and says ‘Well I’m not coming back if he’s in it.’ It’s just not her,” the source added.
