Growing up in the Bronx, Cardi B has been in her fair share of brawls over the years. While enjoying a late-night dinner with her eldest two children, Kulture and Wave, the rapper joked about how they need to learn how to fight to protect their Grammy-winning mother when she can’t defend herself anymore. Cardi revealed on Tuesday’s (Aug. 18) IG Live that she signed up 8-year-old Kulture and 4-year-old Wave for boxing classes, as the rapper wants her children to also be able to protect themselves. “This that age when you need to learn how to fight … Never know when a b—h gon’ try you when you grow up and s–t because you in them white, good schools, but you know you outside,” she explained. “I ain’t going to be there for you all the time.” Cardi continued: “And I got some b—hes that I don’t like, so when you 25 and s–t and b—hes f–k with me? You know I’m like, ‘Yeah, b—h. Don’t make me bring out my daughter. Which daughter you want? Which daughter?” The hitmaker made Wave and Kulture laugh when Cardi joked about how she’s going to need the kids to back her up when she’s in an argument at senior bingo night. “When I’m an old b—h and I can’t fight no more, you got me?” Cardi asked, and Kulture agreed. “When I’m like about 60 and I’m talking s–t to these b—hes, that’s when you come in. ‘Kulture, come beat this b—h ass,” Cardi said in an elderly accent. “Yeah, she f–ked with me. I’m playing bingo. Yeah, I’m at bingo and this b—h f–king with me. Come over here and bring Blossom too. You’re going to jump ass.” Before cutting off the IG Live, Cardi opened up about Kulture developing a lot of the traits and tendencies that she herself had growing up as a young girl, including not wanting to eat much because she “hated chewing.” It’s been an action-filled few weeks for Cardi as she closed out July and the first half of August. She picked up her fourth Diamond plaque with “WAP,” released her “AH HA” single (which reached No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100 ) and reignited her feud with BIA.
