Inde Navarrette opened up about a very “freaky” connection to Obsession that happened before she was even cast in the movie. “There’s so many things that were kind of…coinciding,” she began to explain of her casting in the hit indie Curry Barker horror movie in an interview with USA Today . “My tattoos are on the One Wish Willow box, but I had these before I did Obsession , and they did the One Wish Willow box before they met me,” she revealed, pointing out the tattoos on her arms. Obsession made globally $27 million on the first weekend,” she went on to say. “There was just so many different things that me and the film…it just felt so right. It’s a little freaky, isn’t it? Freaky Nikki!” she exclaimed, making a reference to her character’s undesired nickname in the movie. “There was a couple jobs that I had gone out for before Obsession that just hit me in the gut, and then I got Obsession . But had I gotten those other jobs…I wouldn’t have been able to do Obsession .” Obsession is currently defying box office odds and making history.
