The actress and singer appeared on Today on Tuesday (June 2) alongside the Ted Lasso star to promote their upcoming Netflix movie, where they addressed speculation surrounding their off-screen chemistry. Brett added, “I think if you stand near her that’s what happens.” However, co-anchor Savannah Guthrie pressed the pair for a more direct answer. “I’ll just say because I’m me, and you know me, that’s not an answer,” she said. “It was an answer,” Jennifer argued. “Because all these people that they put me—I think I was with Kevin Costner this year, I was with —it was a lot of people.
