According to sources at the New York Post , a walk-through was done at Madison Square Garden in anticipation of the 79-year-old POTUS’ decision to watch the game. It is said he’s going to attend the June 8 game, which will take place at the famed venue. The Knicks won game 1 of the series against the San Antonio Spurs, and will play game 2 on Friday (June 5). Game 3 – the game Trump is apparently planning to attend – is on Monday (June 8). NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani is also planning to attend the June 8 game. The Post clarified that they will not be sitting together. Trump and Mamdani have met. The pair had a meeting at the White House, and Mamdani confirmed how he views the President afterwards . Plans could always change, but as of right now, if you tune in to watch the Knicks vs. Spurs game, you may see Mamdani and Trump.
