Shakira and Maluma are ready to make musical magic once again. The Colombian powerhouses teased their fourth collaboration on Wednesday (Sept. 9), sharing a sultry image in a joint Instagram post alongside the caption: “AGUA 💦 🇨🇴 17.09.26 Nos fuimos Mundialllll 🌍” The post features the Barranquilla superstar posing in a white lace dress and heels, her long blonde hair down to her waist, while the Medellín titan sits in a chair, gazing up at her while sporting silky beige trousers and an open button-down shirt that reveals his sun-kissed chest. Framed by a tiger-print curtain, the steamy image channels exotic energy — fitting for a song titled “Agua” (“water”), if the caption is any indication. The preview features the suggestive lyric, “ Cuando me miras se me hace agua la boca ” (“When you look at me, it makes my mouth water”), while a pre-save link for the song is now available on his website ahead of its expected release Sept. 17. The upcoming release would reunite two of Colombia’s biggest musical exports nearly a decade after their first collaboration, “Chantaje.” Released in 2016, the pop-reggaetón hit topped Billboard ’s Hot Latin Songs chart for 11 nonconsecutive weeks and reached No. 51 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 . The pair later joined forces on “Trap,” featured on Shakira’s 2017 album El Dorado . The track peaked at No. 17 on Hot Latin Songs. In 2018, they followed with “Clandestino,” a sultry, reggae-tinged collaboration that reached No. 9 on Hot Latin Songs and topped Billboard ’s Latin Airplay, Latin Pop Airplay and Latin Rhythm Airplay charts.
